In traveling to numerous cities in various countries, such as Japan and much of Europe, I was exposed to new environments and people. This exposure to seeing life in a new and intriguing manner motivated me to create environments and realities for my illustrative creations to dwell in. The desired effect is to have the viewer feel drawn in not only to the story of the image, but also into the reality created around the message. My influences in art are Japanese woodblock prints, Saturday morning cartoons, Anime and photography. I’m striving to create a signature style that is fun, playful and pushes the realms of realism to express the way I view life and the people that populate it.
